Facing Technical Interview

In this article, I am going to explain how to face the technical interview and I am going to explain the tips to get select the interview. Some times, we will not select in interviews, even you have very good knowledge. So in this article, I am going to explain some tips for that.

Generally in dot-net interviews for 2- 7 years experience, companies will schedule 2 to 3 rounds. That will be like 1 technical+ 1 Manager round or 2 technical + 1 Manager round.

If you have cleared the technical rounds 95% you will be selected for the company. These following are the tips to select technical interviews.

Tip 1:

First, we need to prepare a good CV and it need to be exposed your technical skills in bold and good font.
Like C#, asp.net MVC, SQL
Then you will get questions on exposed skills set.

Tips 2:

Technically, people will ask the following common questions.
1. What is your goal?
2. What do you have faced critical situations in your technical experience and how did you solve them?

For these kind of questions, we need to have very good answers and our answers will decide, ourselves in the interview. Then the interview will move ahead based on your answers.

For example: If you say, my goal is to become good technical architect. Then you will get a question like, How did you improve your knowledge to become a technical architect and what are you doing for that now? :). Then you might get the questions on design patterns and so on..

Tips 3:

Even if you have 10 years of experience, people will ask pure basic questions like interfaces in oops, Polymorphism and so on..
So you have to be very perfect in basics of each skill set that you mentioned in your CV.

Tips 4:

This is calssic one, that you have to make interviewer to ask only few questions. How do you do this :)?
For this you need to talk more about the each and every question in interviewer friendly manner. It would be good to give more explanation for the questions instead of saying simple answers like yes, no. If you don't know the answer, simply say "No Idea about it, I haven't used it", but don't say this answer for every questions;).

Finally, you need to win the interviewer in interview. If you keep this word in your mind, you will be hit interview for sure.
