In this article I'm trying to explain how to create SharePoint Group and how to give permissions to levels to that Group, and how to check against group Permission levels in which group he/ she is having and what's the role in that.

In this article I'm trying to explain how to create SharePoint Group and how to give permissions to levels to that Group, and how to check against group Permission levels in which group he/ she is having and what's the role in that.
Follow below steps while Create Group in SharePoint and given permission to User.Step 1
Go to SharePoint Site Collection with Admin Access and on left top corner click on Site Action dropdown.Step 2
Click on Site Permissions under Site Action dropdown.Step 3
It will redirect to the Permission Tools, there we have several options like "Create Group", "Grant Permission" etc….Step 4
Click on Create Group option and then Create Group with appropriate details, In Right side you need to enter details in left hand side it's provide the description about the entry.Step 5
At last we have an option called as "Give Group permission to this site" there we can find the below list.
Based on above selection you can access the Group "Test Group", in my scenario I given Full Control, so he can do anything against this Group using the credentials.Step 6
After create a Group you can view the created Group in the below path
Site Actions -- > Site Settings ? Users And groups ? People And GroupsStep 7
You can check the Permissions, when you click onCheck Permission option. There it's asking the user details once you given user details then based on user it's return what are all the groups he is having and what about his roles against that group it's return all the details.Conclusion
