Customization of color/theme is easier one as ever with Visual Studio Code. Just follow these simple steps and you're done:

1. Open Command Tab/Bar (called as Pallet) by pressing Ctrl+Shift+P or View -> Theme
2. Enter 'theme' to get the list of available themes
3. Now, make you choice of theme and then press enter

Now your Visual Studio Code is ready with the new theme.
