Installing Visual Studio 2012 on Windows 7

In this article I am going to share my experience in installing Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 on Windows 7. There are a series of steps we need to follow in order to install Visual Studio.

1.If "microsoft sql server 2008 management studio express" is not installed on your PC. First install it from the following link. Download "SQLManagementStudio_x86_ENU.exe" and install it.

2.Download Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 from the following link and install it.

3. I installed Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate from the following link. Click on Download Now link below Visual Studio Ultimate 2012 90-day trial - English. Save the file and run it.

4. I got the following error while installing Visual Studio 2012.



So I followed above steps and installed Visual Studio 2012 Update 1 from the below link.

5. After few hours of struggling I was successfully able to install Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate - Trial Version on windows 7.
