Visual Studio 2012 Official Virtual Launch Event to be held today

Microsoft is coming up with the official virtual launch event of their new product Visual Studio 11 today on 12th September 2012. The release candidate version of VS2012 was already officially available on Microsoft’s website and it had been used and tested widely by several application developers throughout the world. Seeing the immense success of their new version of Visual Studio the Company announced the official launch today at 10 p.m(IST)

Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 is officially getting launched today 12th September 2012 for the public use at 10 p.m(IST). The wait of all the customers who have been using the Release Candidate version of Visual Studio 11 will now be over. All Visual Studio 11 lovers would now be able to purchase a licenced version of Visual Studio 2012, the newly launched advanced development tool .

For application developers working on the technology .NET the new version Visual Studio 11 would be a boon. Some of the new and great features that are included in VS2012 are:

  • Templates for creating Metro Style application using VB, C# and Java Script

  • A feature called Code Clone Analysis. This feature would help in finding the duplicate codes and then removing them.

  • It also includes an integration feature to provide close integration among Team Foundation Servers.
