Use Google Map in Your Site

Use Google Map in Your Site

Navigate to the Google Maps Wizard. There is a link to it at the bottom of this page.

Step 2
Insert your desired width and height, in pixels, for the map and enter any other pertinent information. Click "Preview" to see what the map will look like on your website.

Step 3
Fill in your website's URL so Google can confirm your free application programming interface (API) key. If you do not have a Google API key or account, you will have to sign up for one.

Step 4
Click "Generate Code." Google will provide you with a text box full of code. Copy and paste that code into your website's source code to include the Google map.

While searching Google Maps, you can click the "Link" button in the upper right corner of the site to create an embeddable link to the current map at any time. Google will provide you with the option of either embeddable code for your website or a share-able link you can post into email or instant messaging applications.
