FIX: A .NET Framework 2.0-based application that uses Remoting objects crashes and closes unexpected

When you run a Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0-based application that uses Remoting objects, the application crashes and closes unexpectedly. Additionally, a message that resembles the following is logged in the Application log: .NET Runtime version - Fatal Execution Engine Error (7A05E2B3) (80131506)

This problem occurs because of an issue in the ValidateContext function of the Mscorwks.dll file. This problem occurs when the finalizer thread obtains context from a stub object of a Remoting object.
