Dynamic button with JQUERY and web services

i am trying to do a list as button (suppose that a mobile list as whatsapp or etc) by using JQUERY And WEB SERVICES, and also i use NORTHWIND sql database tables, ex;) customer names..all sample should run on clientside.. i couldnt fint a sample about it. thanks.
