    How to convert scanned pdf image to editable text or excel in asp.net

    How to convert Scanned pdf image to editable text or excel in tabular format using asp.net c# .
    so if is it possible is ther... I tried but when i was converting scanned pdf to excel then it ill be encrypted file..

    Hi,
    You need to perform OCR (Optical Character Recognition) conversion. You can find paid 3rd party OCR SDK for C#.NET from this URL: http://www.rasteredge.com/how-to/csharp-imaging/pdf-ocr-scanned-pdf/
    Also its better you can take help of our DNS member Mr. Prasad Kulkarni, he knows detailed information about OCR techniques.

    You can try using OCR .NET libraries from Tessnet2 or leadtools in your ASP.NET application, or create a web service that uses these libraries, and call it from your Web application.

    1. According to me we can not convert the scanned file into excel or word
    2. And also converting PDF into Word/Excel is not a small c# code.
    3. But lot of tool available in the market like

    But the tools will take the images and bind it into the word/excel.
