Need help on offer with tcs

hi

i have attended tcs walkin on12 sep 2015 for .net position that day techinal round and managerial round ,hr discussion about package is completed and i have submitted
all employment documents that day only.i have got mail from tcs hr regarding salary breakup offered by tcs on 15 sep 2015.but it is not final offer just she send salary breakup for my acknowledgement.i replied accepting same.in tcs carrer portal status is evaluation in progress.

my doubt is
1)after releasing offer tcs will do background verification or before releasing offer they will do background verification.

please clarify my doubt.

Hi Pradeep,

I'm not sure about TCS, but as per my knowledge if they need immediate resource then they will release offer immediately and after that they go for background verification, if they have time to place a resource then first they go for background verification and then they release offer.

Delay the offer not only because of BG verification, they have some other formalities to fill-up, So don't worry about your offer,if you have all proper documents(History of your career) TCS won't cancel the offer after you got placed.

yes i have all documents i got another offer from ibm for contract to hire position but i did not joined but they did background verification its perfect i dont have any problem with background check i submitted all documents for tcs.

Hi Pradeep,

Then you don't worry about offer, request to IBM people to extend your joining date, say to them some valid reason, they will extend for sure and then in any worst cases TCS won't release offer in that case this will helpful to you, my suggestion is don't go for CTH position, that is very big headache.

Hi Pradeep.

In your previous thread we have discussed the things about contract and permanent positions.
As we suggested you earlier you can't decide about your selection until the release of offer letter.

Background verification may happen before and in some times after the release of offer letter.
So if you are not confident about selection for TCS then go for next alternative, that might be contract position with IBM.
