    How to create web service to get data from soap message to SQL DB?

    Hi All,

    I never worked on web service before. Could you please help me?

    I have XML file(SOAP message) and I want to get data from this file and insert it to SQL table via Web Service.

    So, how can i do this?

    If the data is coming in the format of XML then you can get it in a file then can read the data from file.

    Simply you can create one webservice with webmethod where you can pass xml data.
    In webmethod you can write the code to passing that xml data into stored procedure using and in stored procedure you can use xml parse document and insert into actual database table.

    you need to follow following things to accomplish your task
    1.Create a Web Site project
    2.Add a Web Reference
    3.Call the Web services APIs inside the code
