You can use latest version of Visual studio, you can download visual studio 2013. (.NET framework 5)

It is always good to download the latest version for learning purpose. So try to get Visual Studio 2013 express edition from Microsoft download center: microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=40787

Hi archana, I think VSTD2008 and VSTD 2010 both will be useful for the basic learners because they can interact with the software easily need some advanced then go for VSTD2012 and 2013 web versions which is available in MS official pages also you can downoad it as trial version and later you can register using microsoft mail id's.
