    Rendering time is more for a graphic symbol

    I have a graphic symbol which has lot of embedded symbols in it. These symbols have rectangle elements. Webpage which contains this symbol opens slowly.

    When webpage load slowly or takes a time to load. there are plenty of reason behidn it.
    it may network issue. but the primary reason may be a code issue.
    check your code, can you paste it over here ? so that we can help you better

    The issue might be of the network connection speed.

    and also try to avoid loading other images in page load. load only the image required. Rest you can loas after the page is fully opened.

    Hi,
    How did you verify that page is loading slowly because of this rectangle? Did you try to load the table by removing it. I believe reason might be a different one. So please try to load the page without the graphics and see if it works fine.

    Hi
    There is no network issue. The graphic symbol has lot of embedded symbols in it. These symbols have rectangle and line elements. The size of the XAML file of the symbol is around 1MB. And the Silverlight application storage quota is 1MB. The Xap file size is around 300kb. When the xap file converted to zip and checked the corresponding dll size is 3MB. Webpage which contains this symbol opens slowly. Is there any way to reduce the rendering time.
