How to install BizTalk 2010 MQSeries Adapter?

Do you want to learn about Biztalk 2010 MQSeries Adapter? Learn how to install MQseries Adapter for Biztalk 2010. Where to download MQSeries Adapter for Biztalk 2010.

    All,

I am using BizTalk 2010 on Windows Server 2008 R2. I have following question

From where I could download MQSeries Adapter?

I tried to install BizTalk Adapter setup which came along with the complete installation folder (BizTalk Server\AdapterPack_x86). Initially I got an error saying that I need to install WCF LOB Adapter. I downloaded that and successfully installed AdapterPack. But I didnt see MQSeries Adapter in Start-> All Programs->Microsoft BizTalk Adapter Pack. There are SAP, Oracle and SQL Adapters in this list.

Also I searched for Host Integration Server 2010, but I failed to find that in Microsoft Download center.

I may be missing something here, can you please share your thoughts?

    Thanks in advance!

Note: I was able to install MQSAgent using additional software section in original setup of BizTalk 2010. Now I am seeing MQSAgent2 as a COM+ application.

    Hai T Abraham,
To Install the MQSeries adapter, you need to install all the pre-requisites before installing the MQSeries.
See the below Prerequisites which are required to install:
    1. The BizTalk Server 2010 should be installed as with the local Administrator.
    2. Install the MQSeries Server 5.3 software.
    3. Run the Default configuration wizard to create the Default Cluster and Queue Manager
    4. Set the default configuration
    5. Set the IBM MQSeries Service to Automatic
    6. Restart the computer.
    7. Install the BizTalk Adapter for MQSeries 1.0
    8. Set up BizTalk Server to Send to MQSeries
    9. Set up MQSeries to Send to BizTalk
You can go through the below link for more detailed description for all the setups:

    Hi Pawan,

These steps are useful; I will go through the microsoft page you provided. Thank you.

Actually I am looking for MQSeries Adapter (MQS adapter - Server Based BizTalk Adapter for WebSphere MQ) Installer file (step #7 in your response).
I checked HIS 2010 package; where I could see only MQSC adapter (client based), not server based adapter.

Do you know from where I could collect server based MQSeries adapter?

I am using BizTalk 2010, IBM WebSphere 7.1.

    Thanks again!!
