    BizTalk and UNIX Q managers

    Hello,

    Currently our BizTalk 2004 application communicates with IBM websphere MQ Queue managers using MQ Adapter, which in turn communicates with UNIX queue Manager.

    Whether BizTalk can directy communicates with UNIX queue Managers instead of talking to IBM Websphere?

    Nope, Unix Q managers are operating system level. MQ Q managers are application level. MQ Q transmission also possible once you install IBM Websphere MQ - Microsoft MQ adapater. Its not possible to invoke UniX Q manager from Biztalk. But you can install IBM MQ in Unix/solaris/Windows machine and u can access Q managers from Biztalk
