    Unable to debug in asp.net

    Hi friends,

    After execution of my application, web page is opened in Internet explorer but there is not link between my source code and browser. My source execution mode also became unexecution mode.

    Help me on this.

    If you were unable to debug your source code then its the issue with your web.config file.
    I suggest you first check in web.config file that

    <compilation debug="true"> must be true to debug the application in web.config.

    Set the Default browser to IE or any else, rebuild the application put a break point and then try again.

    Rebuild your application...

    Right click your wepage select browse with option and select IE (default) and click set as default button and run it

    In ur application and in u r html page not in cs .right click there is an option browse with.then select the browser you want and also set it as default

    Hi,

    Its due to any of the followings.

    1. The pdb file which supplies the symbols to debug would not been properly generated.

    2. The application would have been kept in relase mode.


    For the above problems keep the application in build mode and rebuild the application .

    hi thanks to everyone,

    Also i found the solution

    I attached the asp.net process from debug menu and restarted system
    then it got worked out now.

    dear freind i need coding in vb.net for searching a record in database.
    for example .. when we enter 1 character in text box they find a records which are start from this word.. eg a ( apple, animal etc)..
