    I joined as NIIT trainee in IOCL Jaipur in Information System Department. And my job role is to provide technical assistance, management of servers used for hosting software and websites. And I also used to manage their Intranet website & update them.

    Well! The task appears very boring in begining as I was expected something new to be learned. But the fact was that it was just opposite to what I thought. After some span of time period in that Department I am enjoying my work. And the words and things I learned or studied in NIIT and about computer started to come in between to direct me and assisting me in job.

    I would advise (though I am not so much big one to advise) freshers that they should study whatever they are been taught in their college and classes. Though those things would never come in use directly but indirectly they will be helping you. And gaining experience as a starter is must to survive in IT department. Later one can select his or her field of interest and you can finally be TECHNO ROCKSTAR!!!
