    Hello Guys,

Being an ex student of NIIT and later on teaching at NIIT, I have some experiences to share.

first of all we all r proud to be associated to an institute which provides at least talking of my days about 6-7 years down the line, it was unmatched with any other institute in terms of course structure, latest updations and revamping of curriculum, placements and of course enhancing learning experiences with projects like ISAS, technical projects and lots of practice hours. Back in those days, people did not have access to PCs so lot of dependency came in, which was catered very nicely. As a faculty also, it was pretty challenging to keep updated and abreast with changing curriculum. One thing I hated of course was this number chasing business, getting more and more enrolments for further courses. I love interacting with the student community since they r so passionate abut their world and I still relate to them, but since I wanted to have an insight into the development world as well, I joined Geodesic (creators of Indiatimes messenger). Well guys, now its ur turn to update me on current NIIT. and its curriculum too.

    Thnks for reading

    Jyoti.

    Hi,

Thanks for sharing the same with us. It was nice to know about the scenario of NIIT in past. Even the things have not change right now too. We too spend our time in ISAS, Projects preparation and to spend time in understanding codes.

As far as concerned about enrollment in courses the number is been increasing rapidly. But the fees too have increased with time. But as about faculty I just love them because of their way of teaching technology to us in such a simple way.

I only hate one thing of NIIT. And it is that you are provided two hours to learn such a hard codes or concepts. How one can make pace with such and so fast?

About Curriculum I would like to say that there have been varieties of course. So it's hard to mention them all. But some of tracks are Software Engineering, Network Engineering, BPO related course, Web Designer, Specialization course in particular language , etc.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Vikram Singh Saini
