TFieldedText (CSV Parser)

TFieldedText allows you parse a CSV file in the same way you read data from a database table. To parse a CSV file, you load it's schema into an instance of TFieldedText and then you use an IDataReader to read each line - in the same way you read records from a database.

The 'schema' for a CSV file is easily created with a Fielded Text editor. A list of Fielded Text editor's is available at http://www.fieldedtext.org/Software.html

An example of how to use TFieldedText can be viewed at http://www.fieldedtext.org/Tutorials/Xilytix/index.html

TFieldedText is very fast and can parse virtually any CSV file - including files with fixed length fields and even files with different sequences of fields in lines.

The component is available for the .NET 1.1 and .NET 2 frameworks and the code is release to public domain (so you can use it however you wish).
