Column focus the datagrid in VB.NET

I Want to focus the particular column in datagrid. If i give the focus command like datagrid1.focus, the first column is selected. But i want to focus the 3rd column when the form is load.
can we focus the particular column without using tab, down keys?
How is it possible???

try this way,

DataGrid1.Columns[3].Focus()
