This code is used to get Row Number from a Table in SQL-2000.


SET NOCOUNT ON

CREATE TABLE #RowNumber (
RowNumber int IDENTITY (1, 1),
PKDailyStockID char(9) )

INSERT #RowNumber (PKDailyStockID)
SELECT PKDailyStockID
FROM prdstk001m00
WHERE PKDailyStockID <100

SELECT RowNumber, e.*
FROM #RowNumber r JOIN prdstk001m00 e
ON r.PKDailyStockID = e.PKDailyStockID

DROP TABLE #RowNumber

SET NOCOUNT OFF
