It is possible to schedule the execution of a method so that the method runs after an interval of time you specify.

The following code uses the Timer class to run a method after 10 seconds.

static void Main(string[] args)
{
TimerCallback tc = new TimerCallback(Sample.DisplayValue);
System.Threading.Timer t = new Timer(tc, null, 10000,Timeout.Infinite);
Console.ReadLine();

}
static void DisplayValue(object o)
{
Console.WriteLine("I am running after 10 seconds...");
}
