Get IP Address of client in a ASP.NET web application

In many web sites, you may want to record the IP Address of the user when he access critical information in the page or when he makes any financial transactions. This code snippet shows how to capture the IP Address of the client when he access any web page.


string ipAddress = Request.ServerVariables ["REMOTE_ADDR"];
string ipAddress2 = Request.UserHostAddress;


Both of the above approaches will give you the IPAddress of the user accessing your web page.
