Its simple example to see how pointers work....to maske it work go to Project Properties/Configuration Properties/Code Generation/Allow Unsafe code Blocks to true.

unsafe public static void Main(string[] args)
{
int count =99;
int* p;
p=&count;
Console.WriteLine("Initial value of *p is " + *p);
*p=10;
Console.WriteLine ("The new value of *p is " + *p);
