How to install .Net Framework 3.5 in windows 8.1?

Windows 8.1 does not include .NET Framework 3.5 (include .NET 2.0 and 3.0) by default. But if the user is upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 8, then .NET Framework 3.5 is fully enabled. The user can make sure this feature is enabled by check in "Program and Features".

Windows 8.1 does not include .NET Framework 3.5 (include .NET 2.0 and 3.0) by default. But if the user is upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 8, then .NET Framework 3.5 is fully enabled. If you want to enable .net framework 3.5 in windows 8/8.1 then you can enable this feature from "Program and Features".

Please follow the below steps :

Step 1. Goto Control Panel –> Programs

Step 2. Then click on "Turn Windows features on or off". Then it will open window like below image.

The User can enable this feature by click on .NET Framework 3.5 (include .NET 2.0 and 3.0) select it and click OK. After this step, it will download the entire package from internet and install the .NET Framework 3.5 feature.

But if the user does not have an internet connection, then this method cannot be applied.

Hope this will help you to activate .Net Framework in windows 8.1
