How to detect if your system has any printers installed?

It would be safer to check if any printer is installed or available in your system before sending any print job from your .NET application.


int printCount = System.Drawing.Printing.PrinterSettings.InstalledPrinters.Count;
if (printCount == 0)
Console.WriteLine("No Printers installed in this system.");
else
Console.WriteLine("Atleast a printer is connected to this system...proceed with printing!");
