Boot Windows XP more Faster


Now here are some tips for booting faster your xp. So let's start:-

1. First of all open notepad.exe, type " del c:\windows\prefetch\ntosboot-*.* /q " (without the quotes) & save as "ntosboot.bat" in c:\.
2. From the Start menu, and select "Run..." & type "gpedit.msc".
3. Double click on "Windows Settings" under "Computer Configuration" and double click again on "Shutdown" in the right window.
4. Now in the new window just click "add", "Browse", and locate your "ntosboot.bat" file & click "Open".
5. After that click "OK", "Apply" & click "OK" once again to exit.
6. From the Start menu, select "Run..." & type "devmgmt.msc".
7. Double click on "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers".
8. Right click on "Primary IDE Channel" and select "Properties".
9. Select the "Advanced Settings" tab then on the device or 1 that doesn't have 'device type' grayed out select 'none' instead of 'autodetect' & click "OK".
10. That's all right click on "Secondary IDE channel", select "Properties" and repeat step 9.
11. Reboot your computer.

Don't worry DOOD it will definitely works.

Hi Friends,

This is really gond information, as all of us are facing the slowness of computer only because of malware, virus, phishing through internet. I have been practiing the prefetch via Run command box.
I should make a notepad.exe, follow the steps to improve my windows speed.
