Difference between Website and Web Application
Many of us use two words
Website
and
Web Application
as synonym to each other. But there exists some difference between them.
WEBSITE
A website is collection of static pages, images, text documents and other animation files. It can also include javascript for client-side validation. So sometimes website can also include dynamic web pages.
WEB APPLICATION
Web Application also includes all components of Website. But it has one extra feature that the validation, checking logics & database handling takes place in application on Server side by some kind of program there.
