Speed up Windows a little

Speed up Windows

This settings speeds up opening various Windows menus, like Start menu, and Add\Remove applet. It works in all Windows.

It requires registry change, so be careful, and backup your registry, first.

Click Start, click Run, type regedt32, and then click OK.
Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
In right pane double-click the MenuShowDelay, and change the value to 0 (no delay). If the value is already set to 0, don't change anything.
Quit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.

You can aslo speed up windows by these three steps below :

RUN Command : Prefetch

Delete all files in prefetch folder

RUN Command : TEMP

Delete all files in temp folder

RUN Command : msconfig

Select the services tab >> Click on hide all microsoft services and remove whatever is shown in the above box.

Select the Startup Tab

Remove all : leave the antivirus startups as it is.

Restart and you are done.

RUN Command : Prefetch

Delete all files in prefetch folder

The above option won't increase the performance. It will degrade the performance.
