Reading a value from config file:

Dim dsn as String = System.Configuration.ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings( "dsn" )

Sample config file :

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<configuration>
<appSettings>
<add key="dsn" value="Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=C:\Statistics.mdb"/>

<add key="ResultsPerPage" value="20"/>

</appSettings>
</configuration>
