Sidebar is a long, vertical bar that appears next to your desk. It contains mini-programs called gadgets, which provide information at a glance and provide easy access to the tools that are often used. For example, you can use the device to view a slideshow of pictures to view constantly updated headlines, or search for a contact.
Why Sidebar?
Sidebar can keep information and tools that are used to you. For example, you can open the latest news directly next to your programs. In this way, if you need to track what is happening in the news while you work, do not you stop what you do to move the new location.
Sidebar, you can use the gadget to the latest news feeds from news sources that will see you choose to. Do not stop working on your documents, because the tracks were still visible. If your device has a title that you want, you can click on the title, and your browser will open directly into the story.
To open the Sidebar, click on Start -> Accessories -> Windows Sidebar.
Starting with gadgets
Windows comes with a small collection of gadgets, but only a few of them appear on Sidebar by default. To understand how the use of equipment, we have three gadgets that you see in the sidebar to explore when you first start Windows: the Clock, Slide Show and News Feed.
How hours?
If you point Clock gadget, two buttons appear at the top right corner: the Close button, which is the top and the "Options" button.

How to slide show?
Then try placing the mouse pointer on the Slide Show gadget that shows a slideshow of constantly drawing on the computer.
If you are in the movie, around and Options buttons will appear near the top right corner of the gadget.
By clicking on the "Options" button allows you to select the image that will appear in the slide show, controlling the speed that will play your slide show and change the transition effect between images.
How to feed the plants?
News feeds can be used from Web sites that provide food, also known as RSS, XML feeds, content syndication, Web or updated RSS feed. Web sites often use feeds to distribute news and blogs. By default, Feed Headlines will not display the title. To start a small group of securities in advance has been selected, click the title.
If you have a news feed, proximity and Options buttons will appear near the top right corner of the gadget. By clicking on the "Options" button, you can choose from a list of available RSS feeds. You can add a list by entering your own RSS feeds from the Web.
