Start Registry Editor and navigate to the following key
[HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]
Set ClearPageFileAtShutdown value to 0
Shutdown the computer and you should notice the difference in the Shutdown Speed
