The following code snippet is used to read XML file node by node and finally binds the xml document to Data source.

Dim xmlParentNode As XmlNode
Dim xmlnodelst As XmlNodeList
Dim xmlnode As XmlNode
Dim xmlFinalDoc As New XmlDocument
Dim xmlDataSrc As New XmlDataSource

xmlnodelst = xmlInitialDoc.SelectNodes("/myroot/nodeone/price")
For Each xmlParentNode In xmlnodelst
For Each xmlnode In xmlParentNode.ChildNodes

Dim price = xmlnode.Attributes.GetNamedItem("price").Value
Dim name = xmlnode.Attributes.GetNamedItem("name").Value
Dim sXmlText as String = xmlnode.OuterXML
Next
Next

xmlFinalDoc.LoadXml(sXmlText)
xmlDataSrc.Data = xmlFinalDoc.OuterXml
xmlDataSrc.DataBind()
