The following code is used to find the xml records in an XML document.




Chilkat.Xml xml = new Chilkat.Xml();
xml.LoadXmlFile("Location.xml");

xml.FirstChild2();

listBox1.Items.Clear();
listBox1.Items.Add("Companies in California");

while (xml != null)
{
xml = xml.FindNextRecord("state","TN");
if (xml != null)
{
listBox1.Items.Add(xml.GetChildContent("name"));
xml = xml.NextSibling();
}

}




Code Explanation

The avbove code Find all district located in Tamil Nadu
Navigate to the first company record.
Find the next XML node where there is a child node having tag "State" with a value that matches the wildcarded pattern "Microsoft*"
FindNextRecord *will* return the current record if it matches the criteria.
Add the company name to the listbox.
