Example:- A query which return DDMMYYYY from MMDDYYYY Date format



select cast(DATEPART (dd,getdate())as varchar(10))
+'/'+ cast(DATEPART (mm,getdate()) as varchar(10))
+'/'+ cast(DATEPART (yyyy,getdate()) as varchar(10)) as dat from table
