Using Required Field Validator

This code will show how to use required field validator in ASP.NET Page

Drag a textbox on the form.
Drag the requiredfieldvalidator on the page.

Open the aspx page and do these modification


<asp:textbox id="Textbox1" runat="server" />
<asp:RequiredFieldValidator
runat="server"
id="RFV"
ControlToValidate="TextBox1"
ErrorMessage="id is required"
display="Static">
This Required Field!
</asp:RequiredFieldValidator>



The main properties of required field validator are
1. Control TO Validate:Textbox control you want to validate
2. Error Message: Message you want to show
3. Display: Static or Dynamic
