In client application events are raised and handled by the client on other side in web form events associated with server controls are raised on the client but handled on the Web server.
In web based event information be captured on the client and an event message transmitted to the server through HTTP post.
The ASP.NET page framework also supports an automatic handle page events and methods. If the AutoEventWireup attribute of the Page directive is set to true the page framework calls page events automatically and no explicit handles clause or delegate is needed.
