We can access mater page properties from content page.

Create a property in the master page.

using System;
using System.Collections;
using System.Configuration;
using System.Data;
using System.Linq;
using System.Web;
using System.Web.Security;
using System.Web.UI;
using System.Web.UI.WebControls;
using System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts;
using System.Web.UI.HtmlControls;
using System.Xml.Linq;

public partial class MasterPage : System.Web.UI.MasterPage
{
string m_name;

public string Name
{
get
{
return m_name;
}
}

protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{

}
}

In the content page add MasterType directive,

<%@ MasterType VirtualPath="~/MasterPage.master" %>

Now we can access the property of Master page from the code behind of content page,

txtName.Text = Master.Name;
