PDB:PDB is the primary repository database of biomolecular structures. It is cross-referenced with many of the major public life sciences databases (e.g., OMIM, GO, and several others).
PID:PID stands for Proportional Integral Derivative Controllers. It is designed to eliminate the need for continuous operator attention. These are the common examples of how controllers are used to automatically adjust some variable to hold the measurement (or process variable) at the set-point. Ex:1)Cruise control in a car. 2)House thermostat.
The set-point is where you would like the measurement to be.
Error is defined as the difference between set-point and measurement.
