One who is frequently using Find & Replace functionality of Visual Studio.NET may have notice that all the words that you search using "Edit->Find and Replace" option of IDE, come up in One combobox (residing on the Top of toolbar).Although there is no direct way to get ride of searched values from that combobox but there is alternative way to delete those entries using registry.
Open Registry Editor using start->Run->regedit.
Now Naigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\
vs.net ver
\Find
(Make sure to replace vs.net ver in above path with one you are using)
There on right panel you will see all the Search entries used during Find and Replace.You can delete starting with "Find" + SeqNo and "Replace" + SeqNo.
Hope this will help.
