For a private assembly to extend probing with other directories then provide the information to the runtime in a special file called Configuration file

<configuration>
<runtime>
<assemblyBinding xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1">
<probing privatePath="Dir1"/>
</assemblyBinding>
</runtime>
</configuration>

Now the assembly shall be searched for in the path Dir1 also.
