Shortcuts in Visual Studio.NET

Introduction


Most of the programmers would not like to use mouse unless needed...remembering some keyboard shortcuts makes life easier. Following are the few shortcuts I collected in the last few days and started using...Just wanted to share

Comments


CTRL+K+C (Comments the complete selection)
CTRL+K+U (UnComments the selection)

Toolbox


CTRL+ALT+X ( Displays the Toolbox window)
CTRL+UP ( Move to the previous Toolbox tab)
CTRL+DOWN ( Move to the next Toolbox tab)

Viewing


CTRL+M+O (Collapses everything to Definition)
CTRL+M+P (Removes all Outlining Information)
CTRL+M+H (Hides the Selection)
CTRL+M+M (Toggles Outlining Expansion)
CTRL+M+L (Toggles all procedures to the same expanded or hidden state


Summary


All the shortcuts explained above are useful for any programmer who doesn't want to use mouse for everything

Press Ctrl + A + K + F to indent the source code in C#.
