If you are working in a big framework then it becomes difficult to find the root cause of error and the only solution is step by step debugging.if you are getting exception on page it becomes easy to track from where it originated but within a framework most of the times exception gets swallowed and what you get on page is something like "Some error has occured".To get to the root of error in fast manner while debugging
Debug -> Exceptions -> Check the Common Language runtime exceptions Thrown checkbox and press F5 it will automatically take to you exception.
