The following code sample shows how to clear a datagridview.
clear datagrid (where b is the tablename in the dataset)

If ds.Tables.Contains("b") = True Then
ds.Tables("b").Clear()
End If

After this you can fill the datagrid again beginning with no records from the previous selection.
