Here is the basic example of Decimal and Hexadicmal Representation.
I hope this wil help new guns alot

Decimal and Hexadecimal Representation:

Before starting I want to write down a table linked in Decimal and Hexadecimal

Decimal Hexadecimal
1 1
2 2
3 3
4 4
5 5
6 6
7 7
8 8
9 9
10 A
11 B
12 C
13 D
14 E
15 F



Convert Decimal to Hexadecimal:



Lets take the number 999
Divide 999 by 16 Result is 62 Reminder is 7
Divide 62 by 16 Result is 3 Reminder is 14
Divide 3 by 16 Result is 0 Reminder is 3

Now the Hexadecimal will be 3-14-7
Because in hexadecimal 14 is equal to E
So the result will be 3E7




Convert Hexadecimal to Decimal



We will convert the same 3E7 to Decimal now

Now start from the right digit

7* 16(raise power 0) +
E* 16(raise power 1) +
3* 16(raise power 2) +
Which is equivalent to 7 + 224 + 768
And the result is 999
