Machine.config: Machine.config file is maintained within .Net
framework derectories and configuration setting within
Machine.config file affects all the managed application
deployed on that machine

to know the path to ur machine.config file use following code

using System.Configuration;

Configuration cnf;

cnf = ConfigurationManager.OpenMachineConfiguration();

MessageBox.Show(cnf.FilePath);

note: You will need to add a reference to the System.Configuration.dll to be able to use this
