Hi,
My system shows (I don’t know about partition) C drive 8 GB, D drive-8 GB, E drive-6GB, and F drive-2GB in my computer (Total 24GB).It was partitioned before one year. . Actually it is a 40GB hard disk, I don’t know about the rest of the partition. I want to use at least more 10 GB other than the existing 24 GB in the 40 GB drive.
I think rest of the space will be logical partition but I don’t know about the significance of logical partition. What is the minimum space for setting a logical drive? Please give me a detail about logical partition, how can I use the more 10 GB partition supposed to be logical partition as another drive of 10 GB. Please tell me how to do that

for a 40GB HDD the actual space that vll b available is 37GB........since ur saying u can see only 24GB i guess the raemaining space is unpartioned......go to ctrl panel->administrative tools->Computer management->Disk management....there u can see the entire HDD partitions.....when u see an unpartitioned...rt click on it and say create new partiotion....and assign the space for it....if ur unable to do....better find some of ur frnd who has a idea abt disk management..........
