Strong Name is the name which contains the assembly's text name, version information and culture informations.
it is with the public key and digital signature associated with the assembly.
There can be same string name associated with the multiple assemblies. The assemblies with the same strong name should be identical.
Strong Name consider to be strong integrity check of the assembly as the security check in the .Net framework should be sure that the assembly is not being changes since it was build.

Cheers
Shilpa
