ABOUT THE COMPANY
iSOFT has been developing innovative healthcare technology since its foundation in 1994 when Patrick Cryne founded the company within KPMG. In 1998 the iSOFT management team acquired iSOFT from KPMG in order to further develop its products and services, as well as to expand its overseas reach. The acquisition of Australian business CSC further strengthened iSOFT's international foothold. iSOFT became a public concern during July 2000, when the company floated on the London Stock Exchange. Evidence of iSOFT's keen business acumen and dedication to research and development of new products resulted in its nomination and subsequent winning of IPO (Initial Public Offering) of the Year at the techMARK Awards in September 2001, and entered the FTSE250 in November 2001.
