1. Clinical Event Interface

Description:

The Space labs Clinical Event Interface Server is a Windows Service whose purpose in life is to poll the Space labs Database for Clinical Events and send them to connected Third Party Messaging Applications. Third Party Messaging Applications connect to the Spacelabs CEI Server over a TCP/IP socket on a well known port and receive messages from and send response messages to the Server formatted in XML text.

A Clinical Event is a discrete patient event like an ECG alarm that a messaging application would be interested in relaying to its connected devices like pagers and cell phones. Clinical Events can be divided into three categories: Patient Alarms that are text only, Patient alarms that have a corresponding waveform attached, and Vital Sign Updates.
Contribution :

• Developed user interfaces using ASP.NET and with business logic written using C#.NET
• Working on the SQL Server database, which included creating tables, stored procedures.

Our project deals with development of a Wireless Network for the purpose of Real-Time wireless Video, audio, data applications.
